PROFILE
Aldridge Trimming have been established trimmers for
well over half a century. The business was founded in the 1930's providing a general
trimming service for cars of the 20's and 30's era - the then classic cars of
the day. Aldridge brothers; Simon, Nick and Mark now share in the running of the
expanding business, while mother Janet manages the machine shop. There are currently
27 staff employed in the business and the company has considerable capacity -
typically providing trim fitting services for well over 100 classic cars per annum.
The
business offers an extensive range of high quality trim kits as well as providing
a bespoke service for owners who would rather have fitting work done for them.
Aldridge Trimming can manufacture anything from a sun visor to a complete interior
trim set and can provide trim and fitting services for virtually any car including
modern vehicles if the customer can supply original patterns. For the most part,
the company focuses on providing services for the Jaguar marques specifically
from 1950 onwards. The business also supports Triumph, Mercedes (from 1964 onwards)
and Ford cars from the 60's and 70's era.
